Ascending from the ashes

"Ascending from the ashes" is my submission for pwnisher's eternalascent, marking a challenging 42-hour production journey for just 5 seconds of animation.

The primary objective was to acquire new skills in Blender, and I'm delighted with the results. The lighting and eerie atmosphere are particularly satisfying, and I am proud of all the details in the piece. Navigating through the complexities of volumes (VDBs) during rendering proved challenging, but managing the rendering came in the form of B-Renderon.

In the course of this project, I explored new software from Jangafx, namely Geogen and Embergen. Additionally, my trusted Reallusion tools, in combination with Zbrush and Substance3d played a vital role, and I once again utilized Marvelousdesigner for dress simulation. Incorporating assets from the Quixel's megascans also added to the project's depth and visual appeal.
